Summer for me means flip-flops, floaty dresses, rosé… and a low-maintenance beauty routine.

Low maintenance isn’t no maintenance, though.

A Brow Lamination, Tint & Thread treatment, £95, at Blink Brow Bar, is an essential. The lamination sets my ever-thinner brows into a brushed-up, thicker-looking shape, while the tint creates definition and camouflages the few white hairs.

I look more polished for a good six to eight weeks.

Testing this year’s new SPFs started when preview samples landed on my desk in January.

For everyday wear, I can recommend Garnier Vitamin C Daily UV Brightening Fluid Glow SPF50+. Easy to use, it’s sprayed on to shampooed hair, then heat plus tension while blow-drying leaves hair smooth, swishy and oh-so glossy, with results lasting through several washes. I’m also a fan of Ouai’s products, so concentrated that you only need to use a little at a time. On holiday, I’ll be air-drying my naturally wavy hair with Ouai Anti-Frizz Crème, though it delivers a sleek blowout, too.

Another hair discovery is Rehab Conditioner Sheets. Inside each sachet (drop
